G. Drew Conway, Chief Executive Officer of Sagent Healthstaff LLC, a nurse-staffing company headquartered in Massachusetts.  Mr. Conway founded Sagent Healthstaff LLC in September of 2001. 

Mr. Conway is the former Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Renaissance Worldwide, Inc., a global provider of business & technology consulting services.  Established in 1986, Renaissance provided consulting expertise in the focused areas of business strategy, enterprise solutions, government solutions and information technology consulting services.

Under his leadership, the company grew from a 10-person, privately held technology staffing firm into a publicly traded $800 million business and technology consulting firm employing over 6,000 professionals in over 100 locations worldwide.

The company was one of the top performing IPO’s in Massachusetts in 1996.  Mr. Conway guided the company through rapid growth and expansion having completed 21 acquisitions in the 24 months following the public offering.

As a leader in New England’s high tech community, Mr. Conway served as New England Chapter President of the National Association of Computer Consulting Business for three terms.  He has been a frequent speaker at the Fulcrum Series on mergers and acquisitions, and has been honored four times as a finalist of Ernst & Young’s Entrepreneur of the Year award.  He currently serves on the board of the Boston Public Library Foundation, the Inner City Scholarship Fund Committee, and the American Ireland Fund.

Doug Desherow, Vice President-Partner for the Mid-Atlantic region, Florida and California working out of  our Leesburg, Virginia office.   Mr. Desherow has been with Sagent Healthstaff since the company was founded in September 2001. 

With over 15 years of staffing industry experience, Mr. Desherow background includes 9  years with Renaissance Worldwide, Inc. where he was the number one Sales Representative growing a  4 million dollar office into 40 million in 3 years.   Mr. Desherow has also held a General Manager position for an ebusiness management consulting and systems implementation company prior to starting with Sagent Healthstaff LLC. . 

Mr. Desherow oversees both daily activities and the strategic business development in our Florida, California and Mid Atlantic markets, providing support and direction to the sales and recruitment team for these markets.  Mr. Desherow is a passionate employee, committed to growth and the success  of Sagent Healthstaff LLC.   His strong business

and sales background has contributed to the successful start of Sagent Healthstaff LLC and has opened office locations in each of the markets he oversees, to further develop business and growth in these regions.    

Michael Foley, Vice President works out of our Waltham, Massachusetts office.  Mr. Foley brings a wealth of talent to Sagent Healthstaff LLC and joined the Company in January  2003.  In his 14 years in the staffing industry, Mr. Foley held successful positions involving national and international recruiting with Renaissance Worldwide, Inc. 

Currently, Mr. Foley has been successful in developing our Northeast Region client facilities.  With a strong business sense,  Mr. Foley has negotiated contractual agreements with over 45 hospitals in 3 years.  Mr. Foley has also established national accounts with Dialysis companies that run clinics throughout the United States, extending his reach beyond the Northeast Region.  His reputation in the Northeast hospital staffing market has had a positive effect to the point where hospitals have been soliciting him to establish a business relationship with Sagent Healthstaff LLC.    

Karin Laping, Vice President of Marketing and Organizational Systems works out of our corporate office located in Waltham, Massachusetts.  Her background includes over 12 years of healthcare staffing industry experience.

 

Ms. Laping’s role at Sagent Healthstaff LLC involves all marketing initiatives for client and employee development, resource development, employee programs, and to continue to review and improve operational systems within the company.
